The Mission Station Chaplaincy serves as a dedicated spiritual and pastoral department with the primary mandate of coordinating prayer, worship services, and the general spiritual life at the Mission Headquarters. By organizing consistent services, prayer sessions, communion fellowships, and revival programs, the department ensures that the Headquarters remains a spiritually vibrant environment.

Core Responsibilities

The department’s essential functions involve:

  1. Overseeing all spiritual services and coordinating prayer activities at the Mission Headquarters.
  2. Planning and executing weekly, monthly, and special prayer meetings.
  3. Managing communion services and overseeing overnight prayer vigils known as Keshas.
  4. Promoting spiritual growth and discipline among leaders and staff while fostering unity and revival throughout the Mission community.

The Weekly Spiritual Calendar

The foundation of the Chaplaincy’s weekly schedule is the Wednesday Headquarters Service, which takes place every Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Mission Headquarters. This service and the accompanying daily programs focus on:

  1. Teaching, worship, and intercession to provide consistent spiritual strengthening.
  2. Lunch-hour prayer sessions conducted during midday working hours for spiritual refreshment.
  3. Evening prayer sessions dedicated to worship and intercession for leadership and departmental growth.

Special and Periodic Programs

In addition to regular gatherings, the department facilitates various specialized programs to deepen spiritual empowerment. These include:

  1. Scheduled overnight Keshas for extended worship and intercession.
  2. Communion fellowships for the administration of the Lord’s Supper and covenant renewal.
