Overview
The Nyang’ori Pentecostal Bible College has its roots in the early 20th Century missionary work of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada (PAOC) and the Pentecostal Assemblies of God (PAG) in western Kenya, with the PAOC establishing a presence in Nyang’ori around 1918. The college was formally established in 1949 as a teacher training college under the PAG Church, but later becoming the Pentecostal Bible College (Nyang’ori).
At inception, it was named as Bethel Bible Institute, BBI and had first granduants in the year 1951. The institution had very few enrolment and among the granduants was the late Rev. Chispo Ogada.
The institutions history is tied to the growth of PAG Church in Kenya, which began with the arrival of missionaries like Otto and Marion Keller in the early 1900s.
The institution has evolved over time, and is now known as the Pentecostal Bible College (NYANG’ORI), serving as a community of pastors and leaders for biblical study and spiritual growth within the Kenyan context.
The college currently offers Bachelors Degree in Bible and Theology, Diploma in Bible and Theology, Diploma in Chaplaincy, Certificate in Bible and Theology and Certificate in Music and Worship.

To equip Christian workers with spirit-filled evangelical training for effective service as pastors, evangelists, teachers and administrators in Kenya and beyond.

To glorify God and to prepare leaders for the Pentecostal Assemblies of God -Kenya and other Churches by equipping them to serve effectively as ministers of the Gospel in various church related positions
