Will you choose to rise today?

There is a big difference between just waking up and truly feeling alive. Sometimes we spend a long time feeling stuck. We focus on our past mistakes or feel heavy with worry. We go through our day like we are sleepwalking, waiting for something to change.
But there is a gentle voice calling to you today. It is saying one simple word: Arise. This does not mean your problems will disappear instantly. It means it is time to change how you stand. It is an invitation to move forward, even if you feel tired.
Think about the man in the Bible who could not walk for many years. He sat by a pool waiting for help. When Jesus saw him, He didn't just feel sorry for him. He told him to get up, pick up his mat, and walk. To rise means taking the very things that held you down and carrying them with you as you move into a new day.
Many of us stay down because we are waiting for the perfect moment. We think we need to feel 100% ready before we try. But the light is already here. You don’t have to wait for the world to get brighter. When you choose to stand up, you bring light into the world yourself.
Rising is a choice you make every single morning. It means letting go of the heavy thoughts that keep you on the floor. It means looking at how strong you can be instead of how deep the hole is. You don't need to be fearless to get up; you just need to decide that moving forward is better than staying still.
The sun doesn't ask if it’s okay to come up; it just shines because that is what it was made to do. You were made for more than just sitting in the shadows. Whether you have been stuck for a day or many years, you can start again right now.
The past is over, and it does not own you. Grace is calling your name and pointing toward a brand-new start. The choice is in your hands.
Will you stay where you are, or will you choose to rise?
